NANAKULI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
Several days after a 24-inch water transmission line ruptured in Nanakuli that caused a traffic gridlock, the Board of Water Supply continues to make repairs, which may continue to impact traffic for residents in the area.
BWS crews finished reconnecting the water line, which had to be disinfected after a sewer line was accidentally struck during initial repairs. However, BWS asks that residents continue to conserve water.
We’ll post updates below as they become available:

All lanes of Farrington Highway have been reopened, but BWS asks that residents from Honokai Hale to Waianae use water sparingly and only for necessary uses such as cooking drinking and bathing. The reservoirs are being refilled via the repaired main.
