A large south-southwest swell is bringing advisory-level surf to Hawaii early this week.
The National Weather Service has issued a High Surf Advisory for all islands until 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Forecasters expect surf along south-facing shores to be between 6 to 9 feet.
Expect strong breaking waves, shore break and strong rip currents that will make swimming difficult and dangerous.
