KAPOLEI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Talk about a speed bump. Two eastbound lanes of Farrington highway were temporarily closed Monday afternoon while some very strong firefighters figured out a way to move a very large boulder that fell onto the roadway.
While on a routine drive through Kapolei, the HFD crew spotted a police officer staring at the big boulder.
After sizing up the 'runaway' boulder, the firefighters spun the rock around and flipped it to the side of the road.
We are told the boulder fell from a truck. No one was seriously injured.
