Warning signs posted after hundreds of jellyfish spotted on Oahu's west and south facing beaches
More than 850 jellyfish were counted at several Oahu beaches.
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
Honolulu Ocean Safety officials posted jellyfish warning signs on some of Oahu's west and south facing beaches after they spotted 700 jellyfish in the water, and dozens of people were stung on Saturday.
Authorities say they do expect to find more jellyfish on Sunday, and are advising beachgoers planning to go in the water in these areas to talk to the lifeguards first.
