A voyaging canoe on its way around the world arrived at its final port in Australia before setting sail for Indonesia.
The Hokulea docked at the Stokes Hill Wharf in Darwin on Thursday afternoon after sailing approximately 2,300 miles during the six weeks the crew has been in the country.
While in Darwin, crew members will meet with the community and plan for the canoe’s next leg.
The Hokulea will depart for Indonesia in about a week, weather permitting.
