Honolulu police arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder Wednesday in Kahuku.
Keone Labatad was arrested after a 54-year-old victim reported being choked, stabbed and hit with a metal bar, according to police.
The incident happened at around 9:45 a.m. on Kamehameha Highway.
As of Thursday morning, Labatad, who does not have a local address, remains in police custody and has not been charged.
