The fire has been extinguished, but the cause remains under investigation.
Firefighters are battling a fire in Nanakuli near Mokiawe Stret.
The fire was first reported shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday. A helicopter is dumping water on the flames as the wildfire climbs the ridge.
There is no official word that the fire is threatening any structures, but a Hawaii News Now viewer says it is close to her home, and the flames are moving quickly.
