HONOLULU (AP) - A man who was featured on "Hawaii Island's Most Wanted" has turned himself in to police.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports 28-year-old Aaron Castro turned himself in Monday after he was featured on the television program for allegedly robbing a 30-year-old man in Hilo.
Police say a man had robbed another man outside an apartment unit on May 23. The victim had reported an acquaintance hit him in the head, stole his backpack and then fled in a vehicle.
Castro was charged Monday with second-degree robbery, second-degree assault and second-degree theft.
The episode of "Hawaii Island's Most Wanted" that Castro was featured on began airing June 12. Police say he had been one of three people featured on the show.
