KAILUA-KONA, HAWAII (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Kailua-Kona man will appear in court on June 24, charged with three offenses after a truck was stolen earlier this month.
Twenty-five-year-old Christiansan Ikaika Kaawa was charged with second-degree theft and two counts of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle.
Kaawa was arrested on June 22 on suspicion of stealing a pickup truck with an attached utility trailer. During the investigation, detectives determined that
Kaawa was also allegedly responsible for stealing an all-terrain vehicle that was reported stolen from Holualoa sometime between June 13 and June 15.
His bail was set at $6,000.
