HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Goodwill Hawaii is excited to announce the fourth Goodwill Goes GLAM! presented by Bank of Hawaii Foundation, an annual event which raises awareness of Goodwill's mission and impact in the Hawaii community. The four-day event, held at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall, features the elegant Gala Night and Goodwill Fashion Show on July 16, 2015, followed by three public Gala Sale Days from July 17-19, 2015.

First Lady Dawn Ige, wife of Hawaii Governor David Ige, will be the Honorary Chair for the Gala event. Goodwill Hawaii bestows the honor to an individual who exemplifies community spirit and advocacy and embodies Goodwill's mission to help people with employment barriers to reach their full potential and become self-sufficient.

“Goodwill provides outstanding educational and employment opportunities for thousands of deserving people in our community, and I look forward to telling its story through the Goodwill Goes Glam event,” said Dawn Ige, First Lady and Honorary Event Chair.

In addition, local designer and Project Runway national finalist Kini Zamora will be lending his design and fashion talents as producer of this year's “Royal” Fashion Show. All clothing and accessories showcased in the fashion show are items found in Goodwill Hawaii stores.

The Gala Sales Days from July 17-19 will feature a marketplace of more than 20,000 square feet of glamour and vintage items collected from Goodwill Hawaii stores. Last year, more than $220,000 was raised at this event for Goodwill's job placement and job training programs.
