The East-West Center has an alumni conference every other year where some pretty important PacRim leaders gather to renew friendships with people they've known since they were fellows in Manoa. Next year the conference will be held in Manila, January 15 through 17. Folks at the Pacific Missile Range Facility on Kauai will want to know Lockheed has been awarded another 62 million to work on Aegis missile development and test sites - with some of the work to be done in Japan.

The community association management contractor Associa promotes Pauli Wong to senior vice president for Oahu accounts. She's the current president of the local chapter of the Community Associations Institute.

Progress helping the homeless in Waikiki - HIS reports since Thanksgiving it has helped 90 people move into shelters or housing - while more than 100 have returned to the mainland - Kimo Carvalho of HIS will joins us on Sunrise this morning for an update.

The lease expires June 30th for the Molokai Drive Inn - but the restaurant has already closed after the landlord wanted to raise the rent. Molokai Drive Inn opened in 1964.

Kevin Hanney's 12th Ave. Grill is partnering with Ni'ihau Ranch and Makaweli Meat Company to produce a Ni'ihau Ranch Lamb Dinner, Wednesday, July 1st. This is part of a series of 12 special dinners to make 12th Street Grill's 12th year.
