Local service members are scheduled to conduct mortar training at Schofield Barracks.
The Marine Corps is planning to conduct live-fire mortar training between approximately 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. from June 16-18. However, training dates and times are subject to change based on environmental and other factors.
Intermittent training noise may be heard in surrounding communities. If individuals hear noise, there is no immediate danger, the military says. Weather, such as overcast conditions, can increase noise and vibrations.
