Zara, Ninja Sushi among 9 new businesses to open at Ala Moana

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Zara, Ninja Sushi and Kay Jewelers are just a few of the new businesses confirmed to open at Ala Moana Center's multimillion-dollar Ewa wing expansion, slated for completion in late 2015.

General Growth Properties, owner and manager of Ala Moana Center, announced the nine stores on Monday afternoon. Other retailers include: Agent Provocateur, Café Lani Hawaii, Island Slipper, Lorna Jane Active Living, Magnolia Bakery and Nitrogenie.

The Ewa expansion project will feature 650,000 square feet of new retail, including a 167,000-square-foot Bloomingdale's department store, large format retailers, dining, entertainment and 200,000 square feet of inline retailers. Nordstrom is also relocating to its new 185,000-square-foot space come March.
