HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - AccesSurf is making a splash with its annual fundraiser on Saturday, June 13. Proceeds from the event will benefit efforts to provide ocean access and water sports to anyone with physical or cognitive disabilities. Guests will enjoy ono food, refreshing drinks, a silent auction and live entertainment from Mike Love and DJ Father Psalms
AccesSurf empowers people with disabilities by providing adaptive surf instruction and therapeutic educational programs on water, like the Day at the Beach and Wounded Warrior programs. Through these programs, AccesSurf assists the participants and their families to access the beach and ocean in a barrier free environment. The annual fundraiser will benefit all of AccesSurf's free programs
The fundraiser will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with cuisine from local food trucks, a beer garden and an opportunity to bid for prizes at the silent auction. Tickets are available at the door for $10 each.
