FREEWAY ROAD WORK SCHEDULE
(Weather Permitting / Subject to Change)
 For the week of Saturday, June 13th, to Friday, June 19th

H-1 FREEWAY

MAKAKILO 

Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Makakilo Drive Overpass and the Kalaeloa Boulevard Overpass on Saturday, June 13, from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m. for median maintenance.

PEARL CITY

Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction at the Aiea Pedestrian Overpass between the Kaamilo Street Overpass and the Aiea/Kaneohe/Honolulu Off-Ramp (Exit 13A) on Monday, June 15, through Friday morning, June 19, from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly.

  • Three lanes will be closed from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Four lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Keehi Interchange and the Pearl Harbor-Hickam Off-Ramp (Exit 15B) from 9pm Friday through 12am Monday morning.


PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU

One to two lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 Split on Monday, June 15, through Friday, June 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for deck widening.
  • One right lane closed Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • Two right lanes closed Monday and Friday

AIEA 

Two lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction at the Kaamilo Street Overpass on Monday night, June 15, through Friday morning, June 19, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project.

PEARL CITY 

Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Saturday night, June 13, through Sunday morning, June 14, from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. for the rail project, then will repeat on Sunday night, June 14, through Friday morning, June 19, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project.

  • The number of lanes closed will vary depending on the location of the roadwork.

WAIPAHU 

Full closure of the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction for the rail project.

  • Saturday night, June 13, through Sunday morning, June 14, from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m.
  • Sunday night, June 14, through Friday morning, June 19, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Waikele/Waipahu On-Ramp (Exit 7) and the Kunia/Waipahu/Ewa Off-Ramp (Exit 5) on Monday, June 15, through Friday, June 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility installations.



 H-3 FREEWAY

KANEOHE

Right shoulder closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Honolulu-bound direction between the Mokapu Saddle Road On-Ramp and the Kapaa Quarry Place Underpass on Monday, June 15, through Friday, June 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for roadside maintenance.

KANEOHE

Right shoulder closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Kaneohe-bound direction between the Kamehameha Highway On-Ramp and the Kapaa Quarry Place Underpass on Monday, June 15, through Friday, June 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility installations.

KANEOHE

Left lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Honolulu-Bound direction between the Kapaa Quarry Place Underpass and the Kamehameha Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 11) on Monday, June 15, through Friday, June 19, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., daily, for median maintenance.

NIMITZ HIGHWAY

Two right lanes closed on Nimitz Highway westbound between Aolele Street and Main Street from 9pm on Friday through 12am on Monday morning as a safety precaution due to deck repairs happening above.
