Warning signs posted after shark sighting at Pokai Bay

WAIANAE, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Warning signs were posted Sunday afternoon due to a shark sighting at Pokai Bay.

The 6- to 8-foot shark was spotted about 70 yards offshore.

Around 3:45 p.m., Ocean Safety officials posted signs to alert beachgoers of the shark in the area.

No injuries were reported.
