HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - An OCCC inmate landed in the hospital over the weekend after he was stabbed numerous times by other inmates while he was sleeping, according to officials.
Authorities said Faatalale Auelua, 41, was stabbed multiple times by up to 10 other inmates. After he was treated and released from the hospital, corrections officers moved him to another section of the prison.
Auelua has 15 convictions, including assault and harassment.
Honolulu police are continuing to investigate this case.
