UH football holds final spring practice

MANOA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

University of Hawaii football held its final spring practice of 2015 on Saturday.

For the last time until fall camp begins, coaches were able to oversee practices and used the opportunity to implement last minute installations and play organized scrimmages.

Head Coach, Norm Chow says overall he was happy with the progression he's seen from the Rainbow Warriors throughout the fifteen spring practice sessions. But, he says he expects players to utilize their time in the off season to bulk up, in preparation for a daunting 2015 schedule which includes Ohio State and Wisconsin.

UH's two new coaching additions, Offensive Coordinator Don Bailey, and Defensive Coordinator Tom Mason, both say their happy with their respective units' abilities to learn a new system.

The bows preseason camp will begin the first week of August.
