HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Emergency crews responded to several separate water-related incidents on Oahu over the weekend in which a man died and three other victims, including two children, landed in the hospital.

On Saturday, a man was found unresponsive by another swimmer in waters off Makapuu Beach at around 12:30 p.m. The man regained consciousness and started breathing after paramedics took over. He was then transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Around the same time, Ocean Safety responded to an emergency call at Eternity Beach next to the Halona Blowhole. Authorities said a 9-year-old boy swallowed water and another child jumped off a rock onto him. Paramedics took the victim to the hospital in serious condition.

A 44-year-old man died Sunday, Honolulu police said, after he was pulled onto the shore of Kailua Beach while in distress in the ocean. The incident happened shortly before 8 a.m. Police said there were no signs of foul play.

Paramedics also transported a 6-year-old boy to the hospital on Sunday after he was found floating face down in a pool. He was found at an apartment complex on Kapiolani Boulevard shortly before 3:45 p.m. He was listed in serious condition.
