HECO crews continue working to restore service to Pacific Palisades customers

2:30 p.m.- Power has been restored to 550 customers. Crews are continuing underground repairs to restore power to the remaining 5 customers. 

9:55 a.m.- Hawaiian Electric officials say power has been restored to approximately 1,495 customers. Crews are on scene working to restore power to customers above/near Palisades Elementary on Ahuhu, Aumakua, and Komo Mai Dr.

Hawaiian Electric officials say approximately 2,050 customers are without power in the Pacific Palisades area due to a downed pole. 

Police say a vehicle struck the utility pole shortly before 8:45 a.m. Sunday. 

Hawaiian Electric crews are on scene.
