It's nice to see more positive news for our teams at the University of Hawaii. Laura Beeman is staying as UH Women's Basketball head coach.

Eran Ganot seems like a solid choice for the men's team and the volleyball Bows are ripping it up on the court.

Let's talk about the men's volleyball team for a few moments.

Nobody really expected them to be as good as they are, but they are very good indeed. Despite the weekend losses to BYU going into the post season and their missing a chance to win the conference title, they are still the no. 1 game in town.

Attendance has been phenomenal, the best in nine years and they have beaten revenue projections by $60,000.

Charlie Wade is to be commended for giving us all something to cheer about and the fans have been great, some 3,500 a game.

On senior night, about 7,000 showed up, capped off by a win over Stanford and a marriage proposal from senior Brook Sedore.

Now, next up is the quarterfinal matchup against Long Beach State this Saturday.

Let's pack the Stan Sheriff Center for this one as we move forward toward a national championship.

No matter what happens from here, this is a high quality team with great spirit. lets show our appreciation to them for making us so proud.
