HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Honolulu firefighters rushed into Chinatown early Tuesday morning after reports of smoke coming from a restaurant on North Hotel Street.

It began shortly after 2 a.m. at Grondin: French-Latin Kitchen, according to the Honolulu Fire Department. HFD said overcooked food is believed to be the cause.

Firefighters hosed down two pots that were filled with smoke.

No injuries were reported.
