The Honolulu Museum of Art's seventh Filipino Film Festival, running April 18 to 28, may be the best one yet, with a special regional Filipino feast by visiting New York chef Yana Gilbuena and milestone films such as the world's first T'boli-language feature film and the new documentary on legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao, who meets Floyd “Money” Mayweather in the ring on May 2—just a few weeks after the film screens. The festival is sponsored by the Consuelo Foundation.
Filmgoers can purchase a Festival Flash Pass for $55 ($42 for museum members), which allows them entry to six screenings. Tickets for opening night must be purchased separately. Individual screenings are $10 ($8 for museum members).
