Paul Mitchell The School Honolulu “FUNRaising” Campaign for Charities

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Paul Mitchell the School Honolulu kicked off their 12th annual FUNraising campaign on February 1, 2015, joining over 100 other Paul Mitchell Schools as they spend the months of February through April raising money for charitable organizations. Paul Mitchell the School Honolulu goal is $50,000. Their national partners are a star-studded celebrity lineup representing 11 spectacular charities.

School Owner/Director, Joannie Rossiter believes that giving back is a way of life. “I love how we raise the funds one dollar at a time. Our students and faculty create the FUNRaising events, the community gets involved by supporting our events and we raise some serious money to help others that need it.”

In 2014, the schools raised a total of $2.1 million, bringing their 11-year total to over $13.4 million. Locally, Paul Mitchell the School Honolulu has raised $30,441 last year. This year, they've set their sights on the $50,000 mark as the Paul Mitchell the School Honolulu goal will go towards the $2.5 million. This year's efforts will benefit 11 national organizations, including the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, the Morris Animal Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and others.

Additionally, the school has selected Kapiolani Children's Miracle Network as their local organization to receive funds from their FUNRaiser.

This year's event includes a Super Service Night on March 24, 2015 and April 21, 2015, 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Paul Mitchell the School Honolulu, 1123 11th Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii. Haircuts, hair coloring, facials, massages, manicures and pedicures will be offered at discounted prices by Professionals and Future Professionals. Prices range from a $15 haircut to $30 facials for Future Professionals (students). Funds raised will go towards the aforementioned organizations.
