FBI seeks leads in sexual exploitation case

John Doe 29 John Doe 29
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The Honolulu FBI is working on a nationwide alert in identifying and locating a man, dubbed “John Doe 29,” who may have valuable information pertaining to the identity of a child victim in an ongoing sexual exploitation case.

This man was seen in a non-exploitive image among series of photos traded online in which a young, blonde-haired girl is sexually abused. The photo shows John Doe 29 smiling at the camera with the same girl.

The images first came to the attention of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in January 2008.

John Doe 29 is described as a male with a tan complexion with dark hair, likely between 30 and 45 years old. In the images, he is wearing a silver ring on his left finger, blue and white Velcro Nikes, and a white, black and red shirt with what appears to be a design and/or writing on the sleeves.

It is not known where the photo's location was.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.
