Taimane Gardner performing free concert to celebrate release of new album

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Ukulele virtuoso Taimane Gardner and a host of other performers will be holding a free concert at The Bishop Museum to celebrate the release of her self-produced album "We Are Made of Stars".

Songs from the CD will be presented as an original stage production incorporating taiko drums, Samadhi aerialists, and fire dancers.

The event will also include local band Quadraphonix, Iona Dance, tribal drummers, poet Kealoha, star gazing and a special showing by the planetarium.

The concert will be on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Bishop Museum, Planetarium and Gallery Lawns. Doors open at 6:30pm and music begins at 7. All ages are welcome.
