UPDATE:
The overdue hikers made it out of Halawa Valley on their own power by about 4 a.m. on Thursday, a Honolulu Fire Department spokesperson said. The entire party was reported to be in good condition.

ORIGINAL STORY:
The Honoolulu Fire Department says it will conduct a search on Thursday morning for a group of pig hunters who failed to return as scheduled from a trip into the Halawa Valley.

Fire department officials say three men, ages 27, 17, and 13, along with a 7-year-old girl, went into the valley with several dogs early Wednesday morning. A fifth man, who entered the valley with the group, left at approximately 11 a.m. to go to work.

His departure marked the last time the group was seen or heard from. They are believed to be in an area that has limited cell reception.

A fire department spokesperson says a woman, identified as the girlfriend of the 27-year-old man and the mother of the 7-year-old girl, reported the group missing when they hadn't returned by 1 a.m. on Thursday morning.

We will have more information on this developing story as soon as it becomes available.
