DUI arrests down on Hawaii's Big Island

KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii (AP) - Police on Hawaii's Big Island say there have been 27 percent fewer arrests so far this year of people suspected of driving under the influence.

West Hawaii Today reports 180 suspected DUI arrests have been made so far in 2015.

During the same period in 2014, there were 248 DUI arrests.
