LIHUE, Hawaii (AP) - A Kauai County spokeswoman is headed for a new job as community outreach manager for Syngenta. Beth Tokioka's last day with the county will be March 16. She starts a week later at Syngenta on Kauai. Lihue newspaper The Garden Island reports a Syngenta Hawaii spokesman says the company is thrilled to have her highly regarded expertise.

KAPOLEI, Hawaii (AP) - The Western Association of Schools and Colleges is reaffirming accreditation for the University of Hawaii's West Oahu campus, while removing it from notice-of-concern status. In 2012, the association identified some areas of concern, including leadership turnover and creating a student-centered environment at the new Kapolei campus. The association said in a letter last week to the school's Chancellor that all areas of concern were satisfactorily addressed.

HONOLULU (AP) - The U.S. Department of Labor says a restaurant at Ala Moana Center illegally required servers to share tips while paying them less than minimum wage. The department says Tsukiji Fish Market restaurant's ability to claim a tip credit was invalid when employees were required to share tips with workers who weren't entitled to tips. A phone message seeking comment from the restaurant wasn't immediately returned.

HONOLULU (AP) - A new business is offering grocery delivery services to Oahu residents. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser newspaper reports entrepreneur Michael Eberle launched Oahu Grocery Service in January. The new business is an offshoot of Waikiki-based Island Grocery Service, a business Eberle began in 2010 to deliver groceries to hotels. He says there is a need for island-wide service for grocery services for the elderly.
