Magnitude-3.7 earthquake shakes Big Island

KAILUA-KONA, HAWAII (HawaiiNewsNow) - A magnitude-3.7 earthquake shook part of the Big Island early Friday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake struck around 12:20 a.m. HST, and its epicenter was located approximately 2 miles north-northeast of Kailua-Kona.

No tsunami threats or injuries were reported.
