HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A 16-year-old boy is in serious condition after he jumped from the third floor of the Ala Moana Shopping Center's Ewa wing and landed on the second floor, also known as the Mall Level.
It happened Sunday around 2:45 p.m.
Officials say the boy was involved in a theft case and was being chased before he apparently jumped over a railing near Sephora.
According to a witness, the victim suffered injuries to his head and face. Paramedics treated the victim and later brought him to a local trauma center.
Authorities are investigating but it is unknown if the boy was arrested.
