HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Hawaiian Airlines plane was struck by lightning on Friday while on its way to Hilo from Honolulu.
Hawaiian Flight 380 landed safely at the Hilo airport around 7 p.m., and no injuries were reported.
The plane was supposed to turn around and head back to Oahu, however the flight has been delayed while air mechanics inspect the plane.
At this time, officials say there are no obvious signs of damage.
