EWA BEACH, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - An Ewa Beach elementary school reached out to parents on Thursday, informing them of a stranger danger report.

According to the letter from Iroquois Point Elementary School, some students were playing at a nearby park at around 5 p.m. when a person driving a white van pulled up and started taking pictures of one of the children.

The student's family filed a report with the Honolulu Police Department.

Several other claims of a white van lurking near school campuses have also been reported within the past few months, including incidents at Kainalu and Makakilo elementary schools.
