Missing Kihei man diagnosed with Alzheimers found safe

Frank Corbett III was located by the Kihei Patrol Division in good health. 


Corbett was located in the Kihei area when bystanders called in that a male was in the bushes on private property. Frank Corbett was positively identified as the person missing.

Maui Police is asking the public's help in locating 74-year-old Frank Corbett III after he was reported missing since Thursday, February 19.

Corbett, who is diagnosed with Alzheimer's, was last seen leaving his Kihei residence for a routine walk. Friends of Corbett reported him missing when he did not return home.

Authorities do not know his exact clothing, but Corbett's friends say he is usually wearing a white colored Polo Shirt, shorts and slippers. His friends also describe him as unkempt with a whitish beard and may appear to be a homeless man.
