  • North and west shores of Niihau and Kauai
  • Surf will reach 15 to 20 feet on north and west-facing shores Thursday afternoon, building to 18 to 24 feet Thursday evening through Friday night.

In effect from 4 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Saturday:

  • North and west shores of Oahu and Molokai
  • North shores of Maui
  • Surf will reach 10 to 15 feet for north-facing shores Thursday evening, building to 12 to 18 feet on Friday. For west-facing shores, surf will reach 8 to 12 feet Thursday evening, building to 10 to 15 feet on Friday.

Forecasters said strong breaking waves, shore break and longshore and rip currents will make swimming difficult and dangerous.
