Suspect in Robert Allenby case pleads not guilty to theft

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Owen Harbison, the homeless man accused of charging up to $20,000 on a pro golfer's credit cards, pleaded not guilty to theft charges on Tuesday.

The 32-year-old was arrested last week for second-degree identity theft, second-degree attempted theft and unauthorized possession of confidential personal information.

He had been in custody for weeks on unrelated crimes, but is being held in the Robert Allenby case.

Harbison is scheduled to go to trial in April.
