HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota has signed with an agent as he prepares for the NFL Scouting Combine next week in Indiana.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports the St. Louis alumnus signed with Rep1 Sports, an Irvine, Calif.-based firm that represents a number of NFL players, including quarterbacks Ben Roethlisberger and Blake Bortles.
Mariota's mother, Alana Deppe-Mariota, said he felt Rep1 would be the "best fit" for him and liked the "family focus."
Mariota is expected to be a high first-round pick in the NFL draft starting April 30. He was a quarterback for the Oregon Ducks.
