Kalanianaole Highway in Waimanalo has reopened. It was closed in both directions for several hours due to downed pole. During the closure, Honolulu police rerouted traffic to Hihimanu St.
At this time we don't know if the downed pole is due to the blustery wind conditions.
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for portions of the state until 6 p.m. A wind gust of 28 mph was recorded at Bellows around noon.
