WAHIAWA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Many Oahu residents will continue to hear loud noises coming from Schofield Barracks as the Army continues its field artillery certification training this week.
The U.S. Army has issued a noise advisory, saying people in the vicinity of Schofield Barracks may experience noise increases from Feb. 9 through 12, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Dates are subject to change pending environmental factors.
Army officials said smoke may also be visible for short periods of time, but there is no immediate danger.
