Police locate missing Aiea man with Alzheimer's

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department want to thank the public for their assistance in locating Eduardo Mapanao who was last seen in the Aiea area on February 3, 2015.

On February 4, 2015, at approximately 7 p.m., officers located Mapanao on

Koko Head Avenue and Waialae Avenue. He is safe and has been reunited with his family.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public's assistance in locating Eduardo Mapanao, who suffers from Alzheimer's and requires daily medication.

He was last seen on February 3, 2015, at approximately 9 a.m., in the Aiea area and is known to frequent the Pearl City and Waipahu areas.

Police provided the following description of Mapanao:

Race: Filipino

Age: 58

Height: 5'6”

Weight: 180 lbs.

Hair: Gray

Eyes: Brown
