Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews are repairing a damaged 12-inch main at 555 N. King St., near the intersection of Dillingham Blvd.

Diamond-Head-bound motorists who use N. King St. between Dillingham Blvd. and Pua Lane are asked to find an alternate route this afternoon and evening.

Only one lane of traffic in that direction is open. The right and middle lanes of Diamond-Head-bound traffic will remain closed during main repair.

The damaged main, which was originally installed in 1931, was reported to the BWS at 11:30 a.m.

Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews set up three alternate water sources for the 30 customers who lost water service.

There is one water wagon at 607 N. King St., a spigot on a hydrant at the corner of N. King. St. and Desha Lane, and a spigot on a hydrant on Akepo Lane.
