Bellows Field Beach Park and the adjacent campgrounds will reopen this weekend after crews from the Department of Recreation and the Board of Water Supply completed emergency repairs to a water line leak at the park. The park was closed on December 26, 2014, after the leak was discovered.

The park, part of Bellows Field Air Force Station, will reopen to the public beginning at noon on Friday. Permits are available now through the Department of Parks and Recreation at http://camping.honolulu.gov.

Camping is allowed at Bellows Friday through Sunday only. Three day permits cost $32.
