Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii celebrates its 22nd annual New Year's Ohana Festival this Sunday

President and Executive Director of the Japanese Cultural Center Carole Hayashino, is here on Sunrise to talk about the fun array of activities planned at the New Year's 'Ohana Festival.


There will be more than a dozen food vendors, cultural demonstrations, an arts and craft fair, and the final day for our popular Things Japanese Sale.


We will have a great line-up of entertainment on two stages, including the Gregg Hammer Band, the Royal Hawaiian Band, numerous dance groups and Taiko performances.


The event takes place at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii and Moiliili Field on Beretania Street, Sunday, January 11, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
