Siren testing takes place in Ewa Beach

EWA BEACH, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Ewa Beach residents may hear sirens on Wednesday as the Hawaii Emergency Management conducts siren testing. The sirens will sound between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at Asing Community Park and Hoakalei.

HI-EMA said residents may hear the sound six to eight times in 30-second to one-minute intervals.

During the tests, technicians will check that installation work has been completed properly.
