Flood Advisory issued for Oahu

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a Flood Advisory for the island of Oahu until 4 p.m. Tuesday.

At 1 p.m., radar showed heavy downpours extending from near Ewa Beach to 20 miles southwest of Pearl Harbor. These downpours were moving toward the northeast at 20 mph and will overspread town-side Oahu during the early to mid-afternoon.

Another band of heavy showers just west of Oahu, from Kahuku to Kaena Point, will move ashore during the early afternoon.

This advisory includes all of Oahu. This advisory may need to be extended beyond 4 p.m. if heavy rain persists.
