The Hawaii Island Fire Department has found the body of the missing hiker in Waipio Valley.
The woman was found in five feet of water in a river leading to Hiilawe Falls. Fire crews received reports of a missing female hiker around 4:49 p.m. Saturday.
Officials say the 22-year-old woman was separated from the group about 20 to 30 minutes into their hike to Hiilawe Falls. Officials said all other hikers were safe and accounted for.
