Woolsey throws game-winner in final second to lift UH to 37-35 win

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Marcus Kemp hauled in a 20-yard touchdown reception from Ikaika Woolsey with one-second remaining to lift the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors to a dramatic, 37-35 win against UNLV Saturday night at Aloha Stadium.

Rebels quarterback Blake Decker fired one of his three touchdown strikes to put UNLV up 35-31 with 20 seconds on the clock, but Hawaii found a way to fight back.

On the ensuing possession,Woolsey connected with Donnie King, Jr. to set the 'Bows up at the UNLV 20-yard line.

Two plays later, he threw the strike to Kemp to complete the comeback.

With the victory, Hawaii improves to 4-8 and 3-4 in the Mountain West. The Rebels drop to 2-10 and 1-6 in the conference.

Also, for the first time since 2012, UH has won consecutive games.

The 'Bows will end the season on the road next Saturday at Fresno State.
