Sports photographer Peter Read Miller to hold workshop as part of Hawaii photography exhibition
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
As one of Sports Illustrated's top photographers for over 30 years, Peter Read Miller has taken some amazing images. More than 100 of them turned into Sports Illustrated covers.
He's in town as part of CONTEMPORARY PHOTOGRAPHY IN HAWAI‘I 2014: The premier juried exhibition for photography in Hawai‘i. This event is designed to offer artists who use photography a venue for exhibiting work and to provide a snapshot of the “state of the art” of contemporary photography in the State. University of Hawaii Manoa's Outreach College's Pacific New Media presents his free public talk on Nov. 20, and a two-day workshop on sports photography on November 22-23.
