"Na Lani Eha" honors Hawaii's royal siblings in its special Sunday celebration

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Na Lani Eha is an annual celebration honoring the royal siblings Kalakaua, Lili'uokalani, Likelike and Leleiohoku. The celebration will be held on Sunday, November 9 from 3-5:30 p.m. at McKinley High School Auditorium. It will feature performances by halau hula and kumu hula: Na Pualei o Likolehua, Leina'ale Heine; Ka La Onohi Mai o Ha'eha'e, Tracie and Keawe Lopes, Halau Hula Ka Lehua Tuahine, Ka'ilihiwa Vaughan-Daral and also feature musicians Moon Kauakahi, Kainani Kahaunaele, and Halehaku Seabury.

This year the preshow will feature hula and oli about navigation, inspired by Hokule'a's Malama Honua voyage. Our keiki will perform a hula 'uli'uli that tells of the many signs a navigator observes while sailing.
