HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
A fast-moving cold front will bring more widespread rain to the islands early Saturday, followed by cooler and drier weather Sunday.
The front started moving through Kauai overnight and Oahu during the early morning hours. The front will advance to Maui County and the Big Island, but may not have as much of an impact as it heads southeast. Overall rainfall totals shouldn't be high.
Cooler and breezy north winds will immediately follow, and then turn more northeasterly for much of much of the weekend. Some leftover showers may fall on windward areas Saturday and Sunday.
